May, 2013 News:

• We've reached over 8,000 "Likes" on our Facebook Page! Featured there are inspirational sayings, beautiful photographs from several genres of Africa, news, and postings of our original artworks from Africa. "Like" our Page!


• Starting the process in December, 2012, we finally have new African art paintings for sale posted on this website. Bangie Faal from Senegal has an abstract portrait found on 25 Other Artists. We've added 2 other new African artists on our 25 Other Artists Page: A & B from South Africa and Masoud from Tanzania. Kenyans Evans Yegon has landscapes & portraits on his own page. Plus, we've added 50 new African artworks to Albert Lizah,, 25 new John Ndambo's, and 40 new Martin Bulinya's on his Page 1 and Page 2. And there's more coming soon!

• We've redone the way we portray the preview images in our Store. Now instead of seeing just a portion of the painting, we are able to show you the whole painitng in a small preview. To see the painitng in a big view, just click the magnifying glass directly beneath the small image. Click the big image to minimize it back. This is a work in progress, but all the artists will have this feature soon!

At the footer of every webpage, there is a short form where you have the opportunity to sign up to receive such notices. March, 2013 News:

Beloved friend and one of our African Artists, Sarah Shiundu, passed away on March 8, 2013.

• Unfortunate News from Nairobi: One of our beloved friends & artist Sarah Shiundu, died on March 8, 2013 in Nairobi hospital after a long illness. We will miss Sarah's joy & laughter tremendously as she brightened & added happiness to our lives. For those of you who have purchased her artwork, please treasure it & pass it on to your future generations with Sarah's information, video interview, and pictures.To view Sarah's African now sold out artworks, please view her Store Page.

• We have a new Home Page! It contains more painting examples to help you make a purchase and summarizes how we operate with you and our artists. We will rotate it with our older format, but for now it is definitely the page to check out!
  
  
• We have a new logo on the Home Page! An original African painting still for sale by watercolor artist Joseph Thiongo, we Photoshopped the image to make a beautiful, happy, and bright new logo.

January, 2013 News:

• We've lowered the prices on most of our paintings in order to better help you obtain original African artwork in this economy. You will find, as always, that for the same artist and size, we have the lowest prices online worldwide. We appreciate your growth with us and are happily able to offer these fine deals.
  
  
• For the more fine and distinct original African paintings we hold, their price is going unadvertised with an "Inquire" button in the "Add to Cart's" place. This will take you to the "Contact Us" form. Fill out your name, e-mail, and the name of the artist and painting you are inquiring about. We will reply within 18 hours, usually much less, with the recommended cost of the painting you seek.
  
  
• We added African Artist Store Pages to our Sitemap.

December, 2012 News:

• We've added our 53rd artist! Welcome Abdul Badi! He hails from Brooklyn, New York and paints East Africa tribal paintings with precision and clear detail. November, 2012 News:

• We've added a new African painting for sale! Visit Kennedy Waireri's Hugh Masekela jazz painting on our 25 Other Artists Page. It's a beautiful abstract!


• We've added new paintings from our Ethiopian African artist, Mahlet. She exemplifies fashion and the Ethiopian culture magnificently!

• Friends, I am pleased to present to you our brand new website. One year in the making, three years online...this update has been a long time coming. Not only are we introducing over 100 new paintings from Africa, but the website has been rebuilt from the ground up to give you the ultimate in African art paintings for sale. There you will always find our latest updates, great photos of Africa, and a good pulse on modern African culture.
